We bring you yet another kitchen accessory that will hold your cutlery safely in place. Art. Lebedev is a Russian design company that began with graphic design but has recently stepped into the world of industrial design. One of its recent productions is the Swissarmius. It is a cutlery holder that’s shaped like a giant red Swiss Army Knife, complete with a plus sign!

We think it’s a great invention not just because it’s shaped like one of the items it’s made to contain but also because of its practical utility. The Swissarmius has as smooth finish and four reasonable spacious compartments that can separately hold a variety of utensils such as knives, forks, spoons, bottle openers and similar items.

Its base is heavy enough such that it won’t let your cutlery topple over and create a mess like most lightweight cutlery holders do. It’s quite durable and looks catchy too. Perhaps the most amusing thing about it is that when its compartments are full of cutlery, the Swissarmius looks like an opened up Swiss Army Knife displaying state of the art kitchen tools! It sure is a witty way to spice up your kitchen rack the Swiss way!
