Bicycle Wine Rack

Okay, this seems a little specific, but this really is a useful little invention. You probably already know how popular bicycles are becoming. They’re the most affordable, most environmentally friendly, most convenient mode of transportation in cities. But have you ever tried to carry something fragile on your bike? You could let it rattle around in your basked and risk it breaking or you could try to carry it in one hand and steer with the other (not recommended though), you could put it in a backpack too. But now there’s another option for those of us who like to travel light. It’s the Bicycle Wine Rack designed by Canadian Jesse Herbert.

Jesse created this leather attachment in April, 2011 and it has been catching on ever since. It attaches to any 1” bike frame via brass bolts and can adjust to hold different sized bottles. The only problem we have with this product, and we’re not sure how this can be helped, is that you can only attach one of these per bike. Not that anyone regularly needs to drink more than one bottle of wine, but what happens on those rare occasions when you do need to transport more than one bottle. Also, this is usually not a problem, but the holder only attaches to 1” or smaller bike frames. So there are some models that this wouldn’t fit. Just make sure you measure your frame before purchasing.
